The Cross of Christ - John 19

Jesus came to Jerusalem knowing exactly what awaited Him—brutal physical torture, emotional mockery, and ultimately death on a cross. While crowds celebrated with palm branches, His mind was fixed on the sacrifice He was about to make. The Roman scourging alone was designed to kill, yet Jesus endured it so we could be healed. He bore our shame, dying naked as humanity was created, removing our guilt forever. Even in His final moments, He cared for others and declared His mission complete with the words "It is finished." His willingness to give everything challenges us to examine our own limits in serving God and others.
