Purpose in the Beginning

Genesis 2 reveals God's perfect design for relationships, showing how He created humanity for connection with Him and each other. God formed man from dust and breathed life into him, demonstrating that every person exists by divine purpose, not chance. Work was part of God's original plan before sin entered the world. When God declared it wasn't good for man to be alone, He created woman as a perfect helper and companion. Marriage between one man and one woman reflects the relationship between Christ and the church, with husbands called to lead with sacrificial love and wives called to be equal partners in God's grace.
