Flourish Gathering: Sacred Spaces

Every believer was created on purpose, for a purpose, to impact God's kingdom through specific assignments. Like Jesus moving from Capernaum to the Gadarenes, we must learn to listen for the Holy Spirit's voice to move from assignment to assignment. The story of Jesus calming the storm reveals how we need sacred rest between our assignments - through daily sleep, weekly Sabbath, and moments of stillness. When storms interrupt our rest, we shouldn't panic but press into Jesus, allowing Him to reveal areas where our faith needs to grow. Our obedience to God's assignments matters because people are waiting on the other side of our faithfulness.
